The WNS site-selection committee chose the Royal Sonesta Kauai Resort on the beautiful garden island of Kauai for the 72nd annual meeting.

The resort sits on the beach of the Kalapaki Bay which is part of the Nawiliwili Bay. The bay is a protected harbor with calm, clear water, trees for shade and excellent for swimming, learning to surf, boogie boarding and stand-up paddle boarding.  There is plenty of shopping, dining and recreational activities within walking distance.

It’s a bustling area with a mix of commercial shipping, recreational boating, and beautiful scenery, near the mouth of the Huleia stream.  Popular for sport fishing, sailing and sightseeing.

The Royal Sonesta is located very close to the Lihue airport, and provides a free airport shuttle. There are direct flights to Kauai from most major Western cities.
